Sheepy Sacks

I've been knitting a lot and really enjoying it lately. I made Garrett a pair of logines (wool pants that are worn over cloth diapers) and decided to take a couple steps back and try few easier projects first. So I found a free pattern and went with it.

Garrett is almost 1!

How did my baby get this old so fast?!
Only 8 days until his birthday. He has added so much happiness and love to our little family.

I'm out...and it's only the 7th.

Yep. I'm out of running for MOM OF THE YEAR and it's only January 7th.

It was lightly snowing this morning. Before Shaun left he peeked his head in the bedroom and said "School hasn't been cancelled yet!" so I rolled over and waited for my alarm to go off. The alarm went off...I fed the boys, got them ready for school, dressed them in all their snow gear and sent them on their way. It's not unusual for the bus to be late...especially since it was a late start day anyways. So time goes on...I have to get Garrett...feed him, tend to Ben and then there is a knock on the door.

Someone driving by was kind enough to tell them school was cancelled...so they came home.

Nice.
Way to go mommy! *blush*

My first knit longies...

They have lots of mistakes but Garrett will love them just the same.
I'm loosely using the Aubrey DoodlePants pattern:

That is the second hat I've knit. I loved knitting it as it went quick and the yarn knit well. I used Vanna's Choice yarn from Joanns.
